Roy Best was the President of the Titirangi Golf Club for the five years prior to his passing away in
July, 2001. Roy was an active member of Nomads, attending virtually every monthly Playing Day since
joining Nomads in late 1997.
The Roy Best Memorial Trophy is a Single Matchplay Knockout Competition, played Hole by Hole off NZ Slope
Handicaps. Rules regarding timing of matches are as for the John O'Sullivan Memorial competition.
